This page explains what personal information Elliot Stubbs Physiotherapy collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and in plain English.
Who we are

What we collect, and why
The enquiry form. When you send the booking form we receive your name, email address, the reason you selected, and anything you write in the message box. We use this only to reply to you and arrange your appointment. The form is processed by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, and submissions are emailed to us and stored securely in our hosting dashboard.
A note on health details. Information about your health is specially protected by law. Please keep your message brief: a few words like "knee pain, started running in March" is plenty. We will ask everything we need to know when we speak, and anything clinical you tell us during care is held in your treatment records, which are managed separately and confidentially as required of HCPC-registered physiotherapists.
Phone and email. If you call or email us directly, we use your details to respond and arrange care, nothing else.
Analytics cookies (optional). If you press Accept on our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, with IP addresses anonymised. If you decline, no analytics run. There are no marketing cookies and we never sell or share your data for advertising. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which resets the banner.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to an appointment: deleted within 6 months.
- Enquiries that become bookings: your contact details move into our patient records, which are kept for the period required for healthcare records.
- Analytics data: retained by Google Analytics for a maximum of 14 months.
Who else sees it
Nobody, beyond the services that make the website work: Netlify (hosting and form handling) and Google Analytics (only if you accept cookies). We never sell personal information, and we never pass it to third parties for marketing.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also object to or restrict how we use it. Just contact us using the details above and we'll respond within one month.
If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
